It’s important to use the brush correctly—apply gentle pressure and move in the direction of your heart to encourage lymph flow. Starting from your limbs and moving toward the torso is ideal. The sensation of the light massage can be very relaxing, and it also encourages waking up the skin. Because the results take time, consistency is key; daily use tends to yield the best improvements. Besides the visible benefits on the skin, dry brushing can support circulation, which is linked to immune health. While it shouldn’t replace medical treatments, it can be a beneficial self-care practice.
