Staying hydrated and managing my diet with heart-friendly foods like leafy greens, nuts, and omega-3 rich fish has been key. Another valuable aspect is understanding how emotional wellness ties into heart health. Engaging with supportive communities or practicing mindfulness helps reduce stress, which positively affects heart function. The feeling of being heart-healthy is more than a physical sensation—it gives a deep sense of empowerment and peace. I encourage anyone striving for a healthier heart to start with small, manageable habits. Track your progress, celebrate the wins, and remember that a healthy heart fosters the best feeling ever. Things I STOPPED doing for my mental health!
Listening to sad music- I love sad music, I think it’s beautiful and relatable. But the reality is it does not help in any way shape or form. It puts you in a negative mindset and you end up in a never ending loop. You’re sad so you listen to sad music, which makes you more sad. And so it repeats.
