2 Peter 3:8-9
But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.
Having a conversation with a gentleman about getting right before the Lord cracked the sky. He said to me my grandmother said that for years and she’s gone now Jesus did not crack the sky Jesus did not come back. I said, with all the respect your grandmother’s not here no more the sky did not crack, but her soul was required of her he said yo man, i did not think of that that way i said one day, your soul will be required  you have to get your house in order he turned around and walked away sometime we think we know we don’t know the Lord have us outside changing people perception, if our perception is a deception, it will cause our conclusion to be an illusion that is witchcraft Jehovah don’t want none of us under satan spell one of these days the sky will crack that’s when it will be a wrap. Jesus Christ will be back just like He said He would living ready through our biblical repentance that will lead us to obedience until we take our last breath that’s the only time we won’t have to get ready if you are not obedient, you are not living ready beloved.
Obedience is the act of yielding to the instructions, commands, or rules of an authority figure. It requires submissive or dutiful behavior, where an individual changes their actions to comply with a direct order.
Romans 12:2
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing
and perfect.
Romans 12:2 calls believers to reject worldly cultural patterns and instead undergo an inward transformation through the continuous renewal of their minds, enabling them to recognize and align with Jehovah perfect will.

In my personal experience, understanding obedience as not just passive submission but as a conscious act of aligning our will with God's instructions has been profoundly transformative. It is through this obedience, fueled by genuine repentance, that our faith matures and prepares us for the eventual return of Jesus Christ. Realizing that complacency can lead to spiritual unpreparedness reinforces the urgency in maintaining daily commitment to God's word. Moreover, the teaching that the will to sin is inherited from the first Adam, contrasted with the deliverance from this 'Satan’s will' through living by the likeness of the Last Adam, adds a powerful dynamic to Christian living. By seeking divine revelation, wisdom, and knowledge—as encouraged in the referenced book—we can better navigate spiritual challenges and resist worldly influences that distract from God’s perfect will. Personally, I've encountered moments where misconceptions about prophetic timing impeded spiritual readiness, similar to the story of the gentleman and his grandmother mentioned. This reminds me that while we may not know the exact timing of significant prophetic events, what matters most is how we live in preparedness and obedience, making every day count. Ultimately, the promise in Revelation 22:7 serves as a beacon of hope and motivation. It calls believers to steadfast faithfulness and revival of zeal as we anticipate Jesus’ return. Keeping a mindset renewed by God’s word, avoiding conformity to worldly conduct, and staying obedient are the concrete steps that ensure we are spiritually equipped when ‘the sky cracks’ and the day of reckoning arrives. Living in these last days is both a challenge and an opportunity to deepen faith, practice obedience, and reflect Jehovah's grace and mercy in our lives. By embracing these truths, we not only prepare ourselves but also become instruments to help others break free from deception and align with God’s salvation plan.
