In 2 Corinthians 10:5, the Apostle Paul writes: "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

By "taking every thought captive," believers are called to filter worldly philosophies, align their thinking with God's truth, and subject it to the lordship of Christ.

This aligns perfectly with the scriptural teachings on taking thoughts captive to Christ's obedience (2 Corinthians 10:5). Moreover, understanding John 16:13 has helped me trust in the Holy Spirit’s guidance more earnestly. Rather than relying solely on my own reasoning or external opinions, I ask the Holy Spirit to reveal deeper insights and reveal what aligns with God's will. This divine partnership not only provides peace but also clarity about the future and my purpose.
