I've been working out for the past 3 weeks, which is something really important to me. I usually do it for 2-3 days and then leave it. This time I've been changing my food habits too. Yesterday I had my chest day and prepared this amazing burger 🍔. It was so delicious 🤤😋

That's where a homemade burger comes in! It’s packed with protein, which is crucial for muscle repair, and the carbs from the sesame seed bun give me back the energy I expended. But it's not just about throwing anything together. I've learned a few tricks to make it both delicious and body-friendly. For my patty, I often opt for lean ground beef, but sometimes I'll switch it up with ground turkey or even a hearty black bean patty for a plant-based option. The key is seasoning it well – a dash of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and a pinch of salt and pepper makes all the difference. I love grilling my patties, but a hot cast-iron skillet works wonders too, giving it that perfect sear. And for the toppings? This is where you can really get creative and sneak in extra nutrients. While my burger had that irresistible bacon and melted cheese (because sometimes you just need that indulgence!), I also make sure to load it with fresh veggies.
