Hotpot in zhongshan recommended by local!🇹🇼
HELLOOOOOOO Its been long 🍋
So we were looking for a hotpot place and my friend had a taiwanese friend and she recommended us this place!
Here’s why you should try:
FREE FLOW VEGE/NOODLE AND DRINK BAR????
So we ordered the set for 3 and 1 solo set as we had to order 1 set per person. FREAKING BIG PORTIONS FOR THE SET?? im not sure which is the solo set but we should have recorded our expression when the seafood came!!??? we were alr too full from all the meat leh!!😂 All these for $50+ per pax?? super worth with the crayfish/abalone/clams and there were prawns included in our set which they peeled for us when we requested for it!!
We proceeded to pay for the food but we got stopped… “NI MEN HAI YOU TIANPING”(you guys still have dessert which is included in the set)💀💀At first we quite excited eh.. we thought maybe some lime shot or what and she said creme brulee in chinese which we dont know was what and like damn excited until they serve us😂
Atp we just wanted to leave 😂 but so sad we couldnt finish the creme brulee and only shared one 🥲BUT IT WAS NICE HAHAHAHA
We wasted one plate of meat… and lady told us they can help us dabao the meat and say we can bring back to hotel BUT WE WERE LEAVING THAT NIGHT ALR😭 AND CAN U BELIEVE IT SHE WANTED TO GIVE US RAW ONE THEY SAID CANT DABAO COOKED MEAT🥲
Ok soo we think its damn worth lah! maybe next time for 4 no need order set of 4🤣 set of 2 and 2 solo should be good enough!
ps. The pooh was for us to add in when the soup becomes lesser
Let me know how isit if yall went 🤗
If you're exploring Zhongshan for hotpot options, here's some extra tips based on my visit. The restaurant not only offers generous portions of classic meats and seafood sets but also includes a salad and noodle bar with unlimited refills — ideal for those who love variety and freshness. One highlight is their thoughtful service; for example, they peeled the prawns upon request, enhancing the dining ease. The seafood selection is premium, featuring delicacies such as abalones, clams, and crayfish which truly elevate the meal to a luxurious experience without the expensive price tag. I noticed from the menu that they have various set options tailored for solo diners or groups, perfect for mixing and matching to avoid waste. Since they can't pack cooked meat to-go but can offer raw meat for takeaway, plan your meal accordingly if you have to rush out. The hotpot broth keeps getting better with free soup refills to top up as you enjoy, and the unexpected caramel creme brulee dessert is a sweet finale that I recommend trying, though sharing is wise unless you have a big appetite! For drink lovers, ordering the famous lemon highball or fruit-flavored soju complements the spicy and savory flavors perfectly. It's a hidden gem among Zhongshan hotpot venues, blending local Taiwanese hospitality with rich culinary tradition. If you’re visiting Taipei or Zhongshan, this place is definitely worth a try for a satisfying and authentic hotpot experience full of fresh seafood and unlimited sides. Let me know how your experience goes!
