What was your college experience like?

I just recently went to UNLV for the first semester and I really like it here! There were so many fun events to go to the first week and I really like the community here. My dorm mate is awesome! My room looks cool! They hold tiny activities for residents that live on campus. It’s awesome! Not to mention I might possibly be joining a sorority👀. I’m not going to lie I was a bit nervous at first about making friends and being away from home (even though I’m like and hour away LMAO). However I managed to make two friends and I have more to make down the road. My teachers are very chill, so that definitely makes me feel less nervous about school work. Finally the students are pretty nice here and there are a ton of resources to help me when I’m struggling academically and even financially. They also have career resources like helping with resumes and cover letters! I truly love it here and I wouldn’t change schools. ☁️❤️#letschat

Honestly it was a waste of money BUT the friendships and life experiences were like no other and for that reason alone is why I don’t 100% regret my student loans

I feel like I had a way different experience from most peoples college experiences because I was a commuter so I didn’t stay on campus. I did meet and make friends with so many people in my classes!! Once you start getting into your major classes you’ll see the same people so talk to them and become friends!!
