Medical Coding Books

Medical coders use 3 different books on a daily basis. The first one is the ICD-10-CM book, which has all different diagnosis codes in it. The second book is the CPT book, which has procedure codes in it. The last book is the HCPCS book and it has supply codes. I bought 2024 books last year I paid over 650$ for them are they still good to use with it being 2025 or did I waste my money??? Serious question I’m learning!?!? Thank you❤️

It took years for me to get a job in coding after I was certified as well. I couldn’t believe I got hired at a hospital 3 years ago, because they always want experience. But I love it here!! Happy Coding 🍋
