PR with 1k - Pt 3 + How to Get Them!! 🤍

Y’all have been loving the PR Post Hauls and I have another in my drafts so I got you boo!! 💗 Here’s a few of the recent hauls and how I got them!!

Note* Some of these require a following of 1k - I’ll try to mention as much as I can remember so bear with me beauties 💕

🛍Brand: IPSY - Gifted PR List (GRIN Platform)

2 years ago I was sent a form to apply for the PR List from a friend and was accepted by IPSY and Boxycharm a few months later. This is when Boxy and IPSY were still sisters and there were separate subscriptions and forms. I had less than 1k in following on Instagram but my presence and authenticity was there which is why I believe I got accepted so fast for both. I was also creating IPSY & BOXY YouTube Content from my own paid subscription which also might of helped. I’ve heard of some people not being accepted at all and others like me who were accepted within months.

🛍Brand: Mr. Clean, Ozark Trails, U by Kotex, Oribe Hair - Influenster

Influenster doesn’t require follower counts but it can contribute to what you receive and/or what you get selected for. I’ve gotten tons of things other than beauty products like household cleaning supplies, toys for my kids, pet stuff and more! Some of the requirements are social posting while others are Written reviews on the Influenster App!

🛍Brand: Bare Home (Pillowcases) - Skeepers

Skeepers requires good engagement and at least 1,000 followers but they have A TON OF BRANDS that you’ll want to try! Most are Beauty niched and social posting required but you’ll find the occasional text review and non-beauty niche . I’ve seen food, fashion, drinks, in person events for Walmart Hauls, etc. and even men’s products. If you download the app you’ll have 1 credit to do text reviews but submit your account as an influencer for review and if you’re approved you’ll get 5 credits (1 credit = 1 campaign). If you ever need more time for reviews you can text the brand through the app but I’ve found not every single brand can be found this way.

🛍Brand: Tevas Glow - Mutual Relationship

I met the owner of Tevas Glow through the Beautytap Community. BTE is a professional based beauty program for licensed or certified beauty pros. She recently opened a natural Bar Soap Company called Tevas Glow and wanted to send some things my way! So don’t think being engaged won’t help you out!! Brands look more for people who engage with their content and might even use their products!

🛍Brand: Silk On Me - Ambassador Program?! Found me on Instagram

Silk on Me reached out and asked if I’d be apart of their ambassador program for a jewelry subscription service. They let me know they would be providing me with codes every month to make the purchase on their site for the jewelry and shipping free and they didn’t lie - it was free. What they didn’t tell me is that I had to pay the shipping and handling on future purchases and it was international so I was going to initially pay anywhere from 25$ to 33$ every month. This was not clear in anything they sent over so I unsubscribed after the first and let them know why. They completely understood but definitely something that needed to be a little more transparent with.
