Katerina’s past is pure Sulani scandal. She once held the title of Queen Consort to King Armando of the Merfolk, though their life together was far from a fairy tale. King Armando's constant infidelities strained their marriage until they eventually divorced. Despite that, Katerina kept living under the same roof with the King until his death.
Now, she gets to focus entirely on her current legacy: her children. She is the mother of the reigning monarch, King Holden. She also raised two strong daughters: Princess Kendra is currently tackling University life, and Princess Madeline is a savvy businesswoman who successfully launched her own career.
What makes Katarina so fascinating is her personality. She is a perfectionist, always demanding the best from herself. This trait likely extends to everyone around her. This contrasts wildly with her deeply unconventional trait: she hates children. How did a Queen Consort and mother manage that?
Now that her kids are grown, perhaps she finally gets the peace she always wanted! Yet, through all the marital drama and high standards, Katarina remains stubbornly Cheerful. She is a survivor with a bright and resilient spirit, who has navigated the murky waters of royal life and come out smiling.
