It struck me on how similar it was driving on the Cabot Trail or São Miguel.

Driving on the shores of the North Atlantic can be an experience that is as mesmerizing as it is demanding.

Changing weather conditions. Narrow and winding roads. Breathtaking landscapes.

A lady in Chéticamp told me people used to drive with doors slightly opened before they installed that guard rail you see (to speed things up in case you had to jump out of the car before it fell down there). A thought I couldn't get out of my mind, on both sides.
