3 Months Sober

I used to spend my nights holding on to a bottle. That’s what I looked forward to at the end of the day.

Now, I can’t wait to get to the gym.

Sobriety has changed me for the better and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I’m 3 months sober today and I’m feelin pretty damn good.

... Read moreThroughout my three months of sobriety, I've experienced more than just physical changes; the mental and emotional shift has been profound. Initially, the hardest part was confronting nights when I would habitually reach for a bottle—a reflex that had been ingrained over years. Replacing that with a gym session was challenging but rewarding. Exercise gave me a new purpose and a natural boost in mood thanks to the endorphins. One unexpected benefit was how my sleep improved. Previously, alcohol disrupted my rest, leaving me tired and unmotivated. Now, I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. Sobriety also helped me rebuild strained relationships; being present and clear-headed allowed me to communicate better with loved ones. For anyone embarking on a similar journey, I recommend setting small, achievable goals—like swapping an evening drink for a walk or a workout. Support communities and sober hashtags like #SOBER and #recovery helped me stay connected with others who understand the struggle. Remember, it's not just about giving something up but gaining a new and healthier lifestyle. The journey is personal and sometimes difficult, but each day sober brings new strength and clarity.

Sober for 7 Weeks
I can’t believe I have hit my 7 week mark. I am about 10 days shy from 2 months. I am so proud of myself. It has taken a lot of strength for me to get to where I am today. The cravings are minimal now and I am starting to feel like myself a little bit more each day. Don’t get me wrong, there is sti

3 months sober and so grateful for every minute.
I never thought this day would actually come! I always thought I had time, but turns out time is not indefinitely at our finger tips. I am 30 years old now and have more or less wasted 16 years in active addiction. so if you are considering getting sober and taking that leap- I've been there an

✨10 TIPS TO STAY SOBER✨
As of today, I stayed 🔟 months sober and alcohol-free… how did I do it? 1. Romanticize the sober life. Make your mocktails pretty. Buy yourself flowers. Light a candle before your nightly tea. Sobriety isn’t punishment — it’s peace. 2. Get clear on your why. Write it down. Read it often. I

Sober Recovery journey
I’ve been on this journey (or rather roller coaster) for a few years now. Never able to stay sober longer than 2 months. And sometimes it takes me months to get back to it. But just because it hasn’t worked in the past, doesn’t mean I can’t make it happen this time. I have finally gotten my mental

5 Months Sober. 🩷 Holding this chip today honestly feels surreal. Over the past 5 months I have found the most incredible AA community, and I truly would not be where I am today without them. From day one they have checked on me, loved me, and reminded me that recovery is possible… even when

SEVEN years ago today I started my mental health journey & part of that was making a commitment to myself to stop drinking. One day turned to weeks turned to months turned to years. It changed my life & I’ll forever be proud of this day. 🫶 #soberisthenewbeautiful #soberissexy #sobriety
