Now, onto the proteins. The chicken and kale sausage I used is fantastic because it's already seasoned and cooks up quickly. But you know what? Sometimes I'll swap it out for shrimp (super fast-cooking!), or even pre-cooked rotisserie chicken that I've shredded. And that thick-cut bacon?
