The story is loud in booatics, but personally doesn't like it. 😹
Cliché guessed so easily that it wasn't fun and interrupted the ending scene.
Alex follows the most popular hero formula, handsome, rich, smart, but red flag, dating women just for sex but not kissing because they don't want to be close to anyone.
His coldness slowly melted because of the brilliance of his best friend sister, Ava. He was asked to take care of her during his brother's absence and had to keep Ava's ex-girlfriend still harassing him.
Many scenes don't make sense, such as Alex even renting a house nearby to take care of Ava, despite being busy as the CEO of a big company in a different city and having a revenge plan for his family for decades.
I like that the hero-heroine has a dark past, so I understand each other and help Heal with each other, but the Romance Duver scene is a little spicy, flashy, no chemistry at all, this ship is not up.
The plot includes so many friendlies that it's not the end of the way.

In the end, the hero follows the heroine to the airport, like a scene in dozens of old love movies.
Plus, according to the stalk, stay for a year! Despite Ava's ex doing that, she's terrified, but the hero does it back, okay?
I feel like the book is trying to make it romantic, even though it's creepy.

จากประสบการณ์ที่ได้อ่าน Twisted Love แล้ว ผมเองก็เห็นว่าพระเอกอย่าง Alex มีเสน่ห์ในบทบาทหนุ่มรวย CEO ที่ดูเย็นชา แต่กลับแสดงพฤติกรรมที่เป็น red flag อย่างการคบผู้หญิงเพื่อเซ็กซ์เท่านั้นและไม่จูบเพราะไม่อยากใกล้ชิดใคร จุดนี้ทำให้เกิดความรู้สึกไม่ค่อยสบายใจเพราะลักษณะนี้มักไม่ควรถูกตีความให้โรแมนติกอย่างเดียว เรื่องราวของ Alex ที่ยอมเช่าบ้านใกล้ ๆ เพื่อดูแล Ava หลังจากที่พี่ชายของเธอไม่อยู่ ทำให้เห็นความพยายามของพระเอกในการใส่ใจนางเอก แต่ในทางกลับกัน การกระทำเช่นนี้ดูเหมือนไม่สมเหตุสมผลเท่าไรสำหรับคนที่ต้องรับผิดชอบมากมายและมีแผนแก้แค้นระยะยาว การตัดสินใจแบบนี้จึงทำให้อรรถรสของเรื่องแอบสะดุดไปบ้าง ฉากโรแมนซ์ที่ดูเกินจริงและขาดเคมีระหว่างตัวละครหลักก็ทำให้ความรู้สึกเชื่อมโยงกับเรื่องลดลงไปมาก การผสมผสานหลายแนวพล็อต – ทั้ง Sunshine x Grumpy, เพื่อนพี่ชาย, CEO ร่ำรวย, ตัวละครที่มีอดีตมืดมน และเรื่องแก้แค้น – ทำให้เรื่องไม่ชัดเจนว่าต้องการจะเน้นไปที่ด้านไหนจริง ๆ ส่งผลให้เนื้อเรื่องไม่ลึกซึ้งหรือมีความต่อเนื่องทางอารมณ์ที่ดีพอ โดยเฉพาะประเด็นการตาม stalk คนรักในอดีตซึ่งเป็นพฤติกรรมที่ควรสร้างความหวาดกลัว กลับถูกนำเสนอในหนังสือแบบพยายามทำให้ดูโรแมนติกตรงนี้ผมเองไม่เห็นด้วย เพราะมันสร้างภาพลักษณ์ความรักแบบผิดปกติและทำให้รู้สึกแปลก ๆ มากกว่า นอกจากนี้ฉากง้อนางเอกที่สนามบินก็เหมือนฉากคลาสสิกในหนังรักเก่าๆ ที่ถูกใช้ซ้ำจนเกร่อ สรุปแล้ว Twisted Love เป็นหนังสือที่หลายคนโปรดปรานและมีกระแสใน BookTok แต่สำหรับผมแล้วเรื่องนี้มีข้อผิดพลาดหลายจุดที่ทำให้ไม่อินกับพล็อตและตัวละครหลัก แม้จะชอบธีมคู่พระนางที่มีอดีตขมขื่นมาร่วมฮีลใจซึ่งกันและกัน แต่ภาพรวมกลับขาดความสมดุลทางอารมณ์และเคมีที่ดีระหว่างพระเอกนางเอก สำหรับคนที่สนใจแนว Romance กับประเด็นแก้แค้นที่ซับซ้อนอาจจะลองอ่านดู แต่ถ้าคาดหวังเรื่องราวหวานละมุนคงต้องเตรียมใจไว้ด้วยครับ
