I’ve always believed that every job, no matter what it pays or how others view it, holds immense value. Working in service or lower-paying roles might sometimes attract unwarranted criticism, but these positions form the backbone of our society. Without the people in these roles, many essential tasks could be neglected—from keeping our environments clean to delivering goods and providing daily care. From personal experience, I’ve found that respecting all vocations enriches our understanding of community and hard work. Seeing the dedication behind jobs that many take for granted has helped me appreciate the quiet efforts that make our lives run smoothly. For example, when I look at a beautiful photograph I took of the moon, I’m reminded that capturing the small wonders around us often requires patience and effort, just like any job.
