Build an AM + PM Routine 🌞🌙

Building a morning and evening routine helps you have structure in your day. When you have structure it helps you with better focus, decreases anxiety, and gives you something to look forward to 🙌🏽

🌞 AM: this actually starts the night before. How you start your day depends on how you sleep. Make sure you go to bed at a decent time. In the morning, include things that make you feel energized and refreshed - skincare routine, meditation, healthy breakfast, yoga, reading, listening to music, etc.

🌙 PM: wind down at least 3 hours before bed. Minimize screen time, take a warm bath or shower, use red light, avoid caffeine and alcohol, etc.

This includes a consistent wake-up time, skincare practices to refresh your complexion, meditation for mental clarity, and a healthy breakfast to kickstart your metabolism. Incorporating movement, such as yoga or a brisk walk, can enhance your energy levels, improving focus throughout the day. By the evening, it's crucial to wind down effectively. Set a routine that begins at least 3 hours prior to bedtime—this might involve minimizing screen time to reduce blue light exposure, taking a warm bath for relaxation, or employing red light therapy to prepare your mind for sleep. Avoid caffeine and alcohol late in the day, and listen to calming music to ease the transition to rest. Planning your outfit for the next day can also alleviate morning stress. These practices not only help improve your sleep quality but also set a positive tone for the following day. Embrace these tips to cultivate not just a routine, but a lifestyle aligned with wellness!
