3 best tricks to relieving nausea without meds 🫚

Nausea can be uncomfortable, especially when dealing with chronic illness. These natural remedies can help you feel better while also supporting your nervous system:

🫚 Ginger everything – Ginger is a powerhouse for nausea relief! Fresh ginger tea, ginger chews, or even homemade ginger ale can settle your stomach in no time.

💧 Hydrate well – Sipping on water with lemon, cucumber, or mint can be soothing and keep you from getting dehydrated—especially if nausea comes with vomiting.

🌬️ Step outside for fresh air – A gentle breeze and a change of scenery can do wonders. Deep breaths in fresh air help calm your nervous system and reduce that queasy feeling.

Save this for the next time you need quick nausea relief! What’s your go-to remedy? 👇✨

... Read moreBeyond the three tricks I mentioned, I've found that sitting upright can make a significant difference, especially after eating. It helps prevent acid reflux, which can worsen nausea. Also, practicing deep breathing exercises calms the nervous system and reduces that queasy feeling. For example, taking slow, deep breaths while focusing on exhaling fully helps me regain control. When it comes to hydration, not just any fluid helps—water infused with lemon or cucumber adds a refreshing touch and makes sipping easier. During pregnancy, these remedies become even more valuable; many expectant moms swear by lemon water to ease morning sickness. Drinking small sips frequently is better than gulping large amounts at once, which can sometimes trigger nausea. Ginger ale made from fresh ginger (not the artificial kind) is also excellent for calming the stomach. If you’re not a fan of tea or chews, homemade ginger ale can be a soothing alternative. Finally, stepping outside for fresh air or sitting near an open window can provide a natural distraction and help reset your system. The cool breeze and change of environment work wonders. I also like to combine this with subtle movement, like gentle stretching, to further ease discomfort. Remember, these natural remedies complement each other and can be tailored to your needs for quick, medicine-free relief.
