do it with intention
You don't need my permission, but...
If you want to draw suspicion and attention just stand around somewhere with nothing to do, or take a meandering, no destination, walk in your neighbourhood.
Idleness draws ire and suspicion from everyone.
You hear people say, why don't you go do something, why aren't you being productive. You may even be lounging on the couch and in the back of your head, you hear yourself commenting on how you should really be doing some sort of project. You know - bettering yourself - bettering where you live, making a contribution.
So what I hear is you are only allowed to be "lazy" while on vacation. Until then, get back to work! I don't know about you but that sounds like a bunch of crap to me.
There is a difference though, between lounging about and intentionally lounging about. On one side you are not experiencing anything, not enjoying anything, you're just wasting mindlessly away, upon which you wind up lamenting the loss of the day, not feeling refreshed or fulfilled from a day of nothing.
The other version is you become fully present in your doing of nothing. Appreciating the gentle breeze from the fan across your skin, or the chirping of the birds outside your window, or just sitting in awe of the clouds as they slowly drift on by with no destination of their own either.
Point being, go ahead and allow yourself to do nothing, but be mindful, and intentional in this nothingness. Don't be brain dead, and let everything happen to you and go past you without experiencing it. There is a difference.
All the best,
