Lately I’ve been on a gut cleanse mission and letting my body decide what it needs. When you’re well nourished, your energy will flourish!

I do not restrict my diet and neither should you. Staying hydrated and consuming whole foods is 80% of the effort!

Staying hydrated is fundamental, but pairing that with nutrient-dense whole foods really brings your energy levels to life. One of my go-to meals during this phase includes a balanced mix of shrimp seafood, jasmine rice, and sautéed mushrooms with spinach topped with fresh avocado. This combination offers proteins, healthy fats, and fiber, which help support digestion and keep you feeling full longer. Adding variety has been essential too. I often enjoy jazzy eggs seasoned with turmeric, salt, and pepper, with a sprinkle of bacon bits and red pepper flakes for a flavorful punch. For lunch, a dense bean salad full of cucumbers, tomatoes, celery, red onion, bell peppers, olives, mozzarella, and a dash of balsamic vinegar makes a refreshing and nutrient-packed choice. Snacks like Greek yogurt mixed with blueberries, honey, granola, and a nut blend of walnuts, almonds, and pecans provide a clean energy boost and support gut microbiota. Bone broth with tofu, miso soup with mushrooms and seaweed, and baked sweet potatoes served alongside ground beef with quinoa and cottage cheese with hot honey avocado create meals that are not only delicious but also rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Through this experience, I learned the importance of embracing foods that naturally support gut health and energy without strict restrictions. Trusting your body, focusing on whole foods, and staying hydrated can make all the difference in feeling energized and thriving daily.
