Sometimes...
We went into someone's life.
To teach him "true love."
But people who still don't know love themselves
Often can't get true love
Because true love
Not demanding.
Not controlled.
And not conditional.
But for those still full of wounds,
True love
Instead, it made him feel insecure.
So he chose something familiar.
Even it hurts itself.
More than what's good for the heart.
And in the meantime...
He came into our lives.
To teach us to "love yourself."
Because if we give love
Until losing his own worth
That's not love.
But it's a sacrifice.
That stems from the fear of loss.
When we learn to love ourselves
We won't be mad that he chose his way.
And won't blame yourself.
Who loves with full heart
Because we already understand that
We're not in charge of changing anyone.
We have a duty to just give love.
