This trip we traveled to Bromo, or many may know that this place is nicknamed the Breath of the Gods because it is a volcano that has not been completely extinguished.

But not only bromo is interesting in this root, we will also go to Kawaijian, which is also a crater where he is reputed to have a blue fire. There is a lake on top, but going up is very challenging.

🌄 Bromo is located in Indonesia, Surabaya Island. This time we went to the airport in Surabaya. But with the global oil price spike, our direct flight flight was canceled all the way back and forth, so we had to change the plane in Singapore and the flight back to Kuala Lumpur.

It's beautiful, it's really beautiful, it's beautiful, it's worth going once in a lifetime, but it's exhausting, with a lot of walking distance plus a lot of sleep time.

We predicted the situation, so we thought about flying one day in advance, staying before the trip, and then having another day at Surabaya, but still quite a few bed trips.

We take a private Thai tour. The trip is 3 days and 2 nights. You pick us up at a hotel in downtown Surabaya, then take us to the waterfall first. It takes about 3 hours to reach the waterfall + 3 hours to walk around. We take a lot of pictures too, so it takes a little time.

Day1: 5-hour ride + 3-hour waterfall walk + 3-hour sleep + 1 am Start climbing

And then that night we had to board the bromo. We had to leave around 1 a.m. to get in the jib and take the jib for about 20 minutes. We actually got upstairs early. The guide said that if we were late, the jib had to park very far and we might have to walk farther.

It was pretty cold upstairs, but there were sweaters for rent. We estimated that our shirts might not be warm enough, so we rented sweaters. We got a total of 4, so we got 150,000 rupiah per 4.

This scenic spot is a short walk. It takes about 20 minutes to reach. But the steep way is also secretly panting. But with the fact that we got there quite quickly, we hurried up to book the front row. Sitting from dark to cold and waiting for the first sun to gradually come up to the bromo, giving us a bromo makeover with the first sun of the day. The view is beautiful, the equation is waiting for the breath of the gods.

This was the first spot only, and then the guide took us down to take a picture, with the base of the mountain also going to be a photo corner with the jib. We thought this corner was nice, vast, not attached to people.

And then it's time to climb up and take a closer look at the breath of the gods here, the distance is actually not that far, but it's pretty steep.

He has a horseback ride, which is OK. The price is 250,000 rupiah (about 450 baht). But at first we understood that we were only coming to the bottom, so we didn't use the service. But actually, the horse also took a lot up. We think more than 2 / 3 of the distance. It is better to recommend a horse service because we should keep the force on. Because at 1 am tonight, we have to walk him again.

Finish the first day's trip around 11am. Then we go back to pack our bags, check out of the hotel, and have to continue the ride for about 6 hours to get to Kawaijian, and tonight is another night for us to leave from 1am, too.

Day 2: 6 hours ride on the winding mountain (watch out for the car) + 3 hours sleep + 1 am, travel up Kawaijian

After we and our friends started evaluating the situation, the body began to study how to get to the Evangelion, how we could use the least amount of force, and we found out that they would have to haul up a car that the locals here would call the Lamborghini Taxi. This is our main idea that we can try to repay the price.

Finally, we renewed the price at 1 million rupiah (about 1,800 baht) for a single leg, the distance is about 5 kilometers, which of course we are willing to pay for our money. 😆

We have one friend who walks up, the other three of us use a taxi service, and the other three of us use a taxi service for 100,000 rupiah (about 180 baht), and the remaining three of us use a descent method. Use some cold resistance.

I can say that the price of 1 million rupiah (about 1,800 baht) paid is very rewarding because the way is very steep, slippery, dusty, and very brutal. The drag is used by two people.

We were amazed because the way was really difficult, and I thought that if we walked by ourselves, it would take us at least three hours, but it only took us about an hour.

But the drop-off point is not the highest point where we can see the lake or the spot where we can see the blue fire. If anyone intends to watch the blue fire, they have to walk about a kilometer down to the crater, which is no taxi service, only by themselves, which of course we do not walk 😝.

While the view point of the crater lake really has to follow the rocky slopes up. The distance is not very far. We think that it is about 300-400 meters, but the way is quite steep. It is also rocky. At some points it is slippery. There is a little panting, but it is good to warm up the body because the weather is very cold. The top is a blue-green lake, and the smoke of sulphur smell rises all the time. If the wind blows, we have to wear a gas mask because the smell is strong and the eyes are burning.

We went down for about an hour and reached the bottom on a pretty steep path, almost running down. Then we went back to our hotel, checked out, and took a ride back to Surabaya for about six hours.

Overall for us, it was a brutal trip because we slept very little. It took a lot of force, including a long ride and also the way. We also had a little car sickness.

As for the food, for us, the food is quite sweet, which may not touch our mouth much, but there will be fried chicken that we like very much. This is delicious.
