Naomie, mineure atteinte d’albinisme, a été écartée par sa famille.

En 2025, une enfant ne devrait jamais être jugée à cause de son apparence.
Elle s’appelle Naomie Muswamba.
Parce qu’elle est albinos, sa famille l’a rejetée et laissée seule, sans soutien.
Cette situation met sa santé en difficulté.
En pleine saison de fortes pluies et sous un soleil très intense, Naomie tente de se protéger sans aide, alors que sa peau est très sensible et nécessite des soins adaptés.
Laisser une enfant dans ces conditions, c’est ignorer ses droits les plus essentiels.

Il est urgent d’offrir à Naomie un espace sécurisé et bienveillant.

Beyond physical protection, albino glasses can also boost confidence and reduce social stigma by enabling clearer vision and comfort. Families and communities should be informed about the importance of specialized care, including proper skin protection and eyewear, to improve the quality of life for people with albinism. Local organizations and international groups can collaborate to distribute resources such as UV-protective glasses, sunscreen, and educational material. In Naomie's case, providing her with protective albino glasses alongside a secure and supportive environment could significantly improve her health and social wellbeing. From personal experience, I can say that awareness and accessible support systems are key to combating discrimination and helping those affected live with dignity and confidence.
