Moist cake packed with real dates. Naturally sweet with a deep caramel flavor, but a bit too sweet for me personally.

My favorite dessert here ,super moist, buttery toffee glaze, and rich caramel notes with real dates.

Visiting Hayatt Coffee Co was truly a delightful experience that introduced me to the distinctive flavors of Middle Eastern coffee culture right in Duluth, Georgia. One thing I appreciated was how the café crafts Yemeni-style coffee, which is known for its rich and aromatic profile. This style differs significantly from typical coffee offerings, with warm spices and a robust character that invigorates your senses. The honeycomb dessert stole the show for me. It is a beautifully crafted, pull-apart bread made of fluffy dough balls, baked together with a creamy cheese center and drizzled generously with honey syrup. The balance of warmth and sweetness in this dish brought a comforting feeling I hadn’t expected but quickly cherished. If you have a sweet tooth, the sticky toffee date cake is a must-try. Unlike regular date cakes, this one is dense and layered with a buttery toffee glaze that complements the caramel notes of real dates perfectly. It’s an indulgent treat that pairs wonderfully with their bold Silk Road Latte—a coffee that surprises with its strong espresso base, combined with a hint of warm spices and a touch of sweetness in the milk foam to soften the bitterness. For lovers of more experimental drinks, they offer a mango matcha blend—a unique fusion combining the earthy tones of matcha with the natural sweetness of mango. While the matcha can taste a bit powdery depending on your palate, it’s a refreshing option compared to traditional coffee. Lastly, I took the milk cake to go, which was incredibly soft, creamy, and comforting with an authentic milky flavor that lingers pleasantly. This café is a wonderful spot if you want to explore Middle Eastern desserts and specialty coffee in a relaxed environment. Whether you're new to these flavors or already a fan, Hayatt Coffee Co offers a taste adventure worth seeking out in Duluth.
