WHAT IS MY HAIR TEXTURE/CURL PATTERN?

Since my hair is wet in these photos itll be a little bit harder to tell because it’s weighted down. I believe it is 3c although I do have curls that are closer to 3b due to heat damage & the other parts of my head towards the back/crown has 4a. I’m not sure if that’s possible but I just thought since I was mixed the genetics just couldn’t decide what to give me 😭.

Hey bestieeee!!!!! I wouldn’t focus too much on curl pattern. tbh, curl patterns can change for a multitude of reasons. I would focus more on the porosity of the hair, and what curl products your hair likes. Gage how long it takes your hair to dry, or simply taking a strand, and placing it in a cup of room temperature water. wait about up to an hour. This test will show you how your hair accepts moisture! If it’s at the bottom, it’s high porosity, if it’s floating at the top it’s low porosity.
