DIY TULIP ARRANGEMENT

Spring is almost here, and I couldn’t resist picking up some fresh tulips at the market. I chose three colours — orange, yellow, and white — and decided to create a simple, cheerful arrangement.

Here’s how I put it together:

Step 1:

Start with a clean vase — I used a medium-sized pitcher for a cozy, cottage-chic vibe. Fill it with fresh water and a dash of flower food if you have some on hand.

Step 2:

Add your greenery first. I used it to create a light and airy base that adds shape and contrast without overpowering the tulips.

Step 3:

Group your tulips by colour and prep them by removing any leaves that would sit below the waterline. This helps keep the water fresh and the flowers looking their best.

Step 4:

Start adding your tulips to the vase. I began with the white ones to create a soft base, then layered in the orange and yellow for warm, sunny pops of colour.

Step 5:

Play with the height! Trim some stems shorter and leave others longer to give the arrangement that relaxed, slightly wild look.

Final Look:
