The Year I Took My Power Back.

I was celebrating my win, taking pictures of the judgment from my October 14 court date, when I saw a text notification pop up from an unknown number I recognized. 👀

It said, “Happy belated birthday, Karen. Hope you’re doing good!” 🤔

At first, I was confused.

Then I looked at the number closer and thought, wait… it’s him. 🫢

Honestly, I never imagined he’d reach out after I took him to court. But I was wrong.

That text wasn’t an olive branch. It was bait — a small test to see if he still had any power left.

So I didn’t reply. I took a screenshot, documented it, and smiled.

Silence is also a response. 👩🏼‍💻
