Pregnancy complications?!

My entire first trimester i was throwing up all day every day and couldn’t eat or drink anything without throwing it up.

It got so bad eventually i ended up needing to be hospitalized because i was so dehydrated and they were worried about baby going through so much stress!

Thankfully the doctors were able to help me go through IV Therapy which infused me with hydration and anti nausea meds every week which ended up helping me tremendously!

Once i was well into my second trimester my sickness finally faded and i was able to enjoy my pregnancy more! (but then came along all the not so fun late pregnancy symptoms lol)

... Read morePregnancy can be a beautiful experience, but complications like hyperemesis gravidarum can turn it into a challenge. Many women face issues such as severe nausea and vomiting that can lead to dehydration and the need for hospitalization. It's important to communicate with healthcare providers about symptoms to ensure both maternal and fetal health. In situations similar to my own, IV therapy can be a vital treatment. It helps replenish hydration and provide necessary medications to alleviate nausea. Beyond physical care, the emotional support of family and friends can play a huge role in recovery during this tough time. Each pregnancy is unique, and support systems are crucial. As you progress through pregnancy, understanding the varying symptoms can provide some comfort. The second trimester often brings relief from early discomforts, allowing for a renewed appreciation of this journey. Late pregnancy phases can introduce new challenges, but staying informed and maintaining good communication with healthcare professionals can ease concerns. Sharing stories in communities can inspire positivity and resilience in future mothers.

I’m pregnant for the first time currently and I recently had to go to the ER because I couldn’t keep anything down either 🥲 This was a week before my 2nd trimester and now that I’m finally in it everything has pretty much subsided.
