There's so much meaning in a piece of art

My daughter didn’t draw laptops…or money…or “hustle.” She drew our family holding hands.

When people ask what I’m building with a digital business, this is the answer I don’t always say out loud.

I’ve always cared deeply about stability.

About being present.

About not choosing between providing and protecting my time.

Some people call that “playing it safe.”

I call it being intentional.

So I built something alongside my full-time career that creates options, without sacrificing my family to get there.

Slow. Strategic. Real.

Apparently…my daughter can feel that.

If you’re building for security, not shortcuts for togetherness, not trends we probably think alike.

🤍

... Read moreWhen I reflect on what it truly means to build a digital business, the core of it is not about chasing quick profits or flashy success. It’s about creating a foundation—a safe, loving place where my family feels held and supported. My daughter’s drawing of us holding hands, with the sun shining overhead, beautifully captures this vision. For many working parents, especially moms, the challenge is finding the balance between providing financially and being emotionally present. That balance is not easy, especially when societal pressures often glorify hustle culture and constant grinding. But I’ve learned that choosing to prioritize stability and presence over shortcuts doesn’t mean playing it safe—it means being intentional and strategic. Building my online business alongside a full-time career required patience and careful planning. I focused on creating options that allow me to protect valuable family time without compromising financial security. This approach transformed my mindset from one focused solely on income to one centered on quality of life. It’s also important to recognize that building a business with heart means embracing a slower, more mindful process. Growth may feel gradual, but it’s sustainable and aligned with my values. This intentional pace gives me peace of mind and lets me show up fully for my family, which is the ultimate success. If you're on a similar journey, aiming for security instead of fleeting trends, remember that your goals are valid. It’s not about shortcuts to togetherness but creating a meaningful life where your loved ones feel safe, loved, and prioritized. My daughter's drawing was a touching reminder that the most valuable creation is not the business itself, but the impact it has on our family’s well-being and connection.

Large abstract art that makes you feel something
I don’t create art just to fill space. I create pieces that hold emotion, movement, and meaning in every layer. This is the kind of art that shifts the energy of a room. S you don’t just see, but actually feel every time you walk by it. #artwithmeaning #feelmore #createdtofeel #soulful

A person's torso with a white t-shirt being lifted, revealing a small 'ANGEL' tattoo on the ribcage. The image is titled 'TATTOOS I WANT Pt. 2' and features the Lemon8 username.
A close-up of a person's ribcage, featuring a tattoo that reads 'MADE IN HEAVEN' in capital letters. The text expresses obsession with the tattoo's font and placement.
A black and white image showing a person's side with a 'la vie est belle ♡' tattoo on the ribcage. The text indicates a long-standing desire for this tattoo and consideration for alternative placement.

Art is more than just “pretty” portraits
There is way more to art than just making pretty or cool paintings. Sometimes it can be “boring” stuff like this. Even this though is impressive and a part of art history. Someone had to create these paints artists use and here’s an example of one color 🤷🏾‍♂️ First word also supposed to be li

Can objects hold bad things?
Let's find out. During my walk with God I found out many things that blew my mind, but this one was most definitely, one of the reasons to push me even more to start this business. - Objects can carry curses and be an invite to evil spirits to enter you home. WAIT WHAT? 🫠 Yes. That

Sentimental framing ideas that work
One of my favorite ways to decorate is by framing sentimental items like napkins, ticket stubs, letters, and other little keepsakes. It turns meaningful memories into one-of-a-kind decor, allowing you to relive special moments every time you see them! ~Recipe card: this may be one of my favorites!
