We need more excitement about what's possible
She didn’t hesitate. She just jumped.
This weekend at the trampoline park, my daughter ran straight for the high dive no overthinking, no second guessing…just pure excitement.
A few minutes later, she spotted the trapeze and couldn’t wait for her turn. She watched her brother go first, grabbed the rope (of course with our help she was too little to reach the trapeze herself...but there was no way she'd give up), swung out…and let go.
She landed in the foam pit with the biggest smile on her face, like she had just unlocked a new level of confidence.
And it made me think…
Sometimes we don’t need less fear…we just need more excitement about what’s possible.
So many women I talk to are curious about building a second stream of income…but they keep waiting for the “perfect” moment to start.
Meanwhile, the ones who move forward aren’t always more confident, they’re just willing to try something new and figure it out along the way.
That’s exactly why I love helping women step into something different with support, mentorship, and a clear path forward.
Because when you know you’re not doing it alone…taking that leap feels a whole lot easier.
If you’ve been thinking about doing something new, consider this your sign.

Taking that first leap into something new can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be paralyzing. From my own experience, I realized that confidence often comes after action, not before it. Just like the scene of a child jumping from the high dive or swinging on a trapeze, excitement about the possibilities ahead is what fuels courage. Many of us hesitate because we’re waiting for the ‘perfect’ moment or the feeling of being completely ready. But that moment rarely arrives on its own. It’s the willingness to take a step forward despite uncertainty that makes all the difference. Starting a side income, changing careers, or trying out a new business can be daunting, but support and mentorship lighten the path. Seeing others take the leap first can also be encouraging—for example, watching a sibling or friend try something new can inspire you to act. It’s a reminder that trying something new may feel scary momentarily, but it’s almost always worth it. The exciting part is unlocking new levels of confidence through experience, not waiting for it before you start. If you’ve been dreaming about building something different, remember it’s okay not to have all the answers yet. Surrounding yourself with a community that offers guidance and encouragement can transform fear into excitement. The important thing is to move forward and learn along the way. The thrill of new possibilities can be the spark to unlock your potential.
