My Fave Body Care Empties 🧴🧼
These are some of my long time & new #bodycare empties from left to right:
✨Naturium’s “The Energizer” Mandelic Acid Body is a great body wash for after workouts; or if you like a nice cleansing, citrusy & refreshing body wash.
✨I started using Dove’s Antibacterial body wash in 2021 as I was prepping for my surgery & have stuck with it since then. It’s moisturizing, very cleansing & has a nice fresh scent as well.
✨Aveeno recently released a the “Tone & Texture” lotion to its lineup. I like it because it’s creamy, rubs well into my skin, and is moisturizing. I top it with a body oil like the Vaseline Cocoa Butter Body Gel (far right). I recently picked up the Aveeno Body Oil (not pictured) to pair with the lotion but will report back on that in a future post so stay tuned.
✨I really love the @LaRochePosayUSA Triple Repair Moisturizing Cream because it is very hydrating & smooths as well. I’ve used this for many years now & it’s great for the face & body especially during the cooler months. But I use it for my body.
✨I started using Saltair’s deodorant serum in scent “Santal Bloom” after not having success using other natural & non-traditional deodorants. The @Saltair deodorant serum worked the best for me. It neutralizes my body odor (I still sweat but I didn’t smell like old onions lol). It also helped to brighten my underarm discoloration.
✨Last but not least is the “GoodWash Down There Wash” is aloe based 🐱 wash. I’ve used it for about 6 weeks now. It’s mild, with a light fresh scent that’s effective. Prior to this I used the sensitive version of the “Honey Pot” & I like the GoodWash wash better.
What are some of your favorite body care empties? Have you tried any of the mentioned products?

It's so interesting to think about which body wash brands truly get us, isn't it? When I look at my collection of empties, especially my beloved body washes, I realize I'm not just picking products; I'm choosing brands that genuinely seem to listen to what my skin needs and what I want from my routine. Take Dove, for instance, which is always in my rotation. For years, they’ve been praised by customers for consistently delivering on their promise of moisturizing formulas that don't strip your skin. It's not just about a clean feel; it's about feeling nourished and cared for, which speaks volumes about a brand adapting to the everyday desire for gentle yet effective cleansing. Then there's Naturium, a brand that has quickly earned a spot in my favorites. Their approach to integrating active ingredients, like mandelic acid in their body wash, really shows they're tuned into the skincare-as-bodycare trend. It's like they heard us asking for the same level of sophistication for our bodies that we expect for our faces! This kind of innovation, driven by customer feedback and evolving preferences, is what makes a brand stand out. It’s not just about launching new products but understanding the 'why' behind what we seek in our body care products – from our daily body washes to specialized lotions and even unique items like a brightening deodorant serum. When I'm hunting for new body care products, I often consider a few things that signal a brand is listening. Firstly, transparent ingredient lists are a huge green flag. If a brand is clear about what's in their body washes, lotions, or body gel oils, it shows they respect my intelligence and my desire to make informed choices. Secondly, paying attention to what customers are saying in reviews – not just the good, but also the constructive criticism – can reveal a lot about a brand's responsiveness. Do they adjust formulas? Do they expand their offerings based on common skin concerns? Finally, the sheer variety and thoughtfulness in a brand's range impress me. Do they offer options for sensitive skin, or address specific concerns like texture or hydration? Products like the Aveeno Tone & Texture lotion or the hydrating La Roche-Posay cream show that brands are recognizing diverse needs beyond just 'clean skin.' It's about a holistic approach to body care. Ultimately, my empties are a testament to brands that have successfully integrated customer feedback into their product development, making me a loyal user who keeps coming back for more. It's a satisfying feeling to know that the products I invest in are truly designed with me in mind.
