why I don't post this
Hello Lemon8ers.
I hope you all are having a better Monday morning than me. Well first off let me thank God for waking my kids and I up today.
Today did not start off good despite my efforts to continue the day in a good mood. After my first post yesterday I learned that my NFCU debit card was used to purchase $453 of items on TikTok shop. Needless to say, I was pissed. I called the bank to start a fraud claim and it worked out well or so I thought. They credited the money back to my account, or so I thought, so I can pay my bills with no issues.
This morning I woke up to an adjustment because supposedly the amount spent will be less than $453. So instead of $453 it’s $169 credited to my account until the transactions are no longer pending. They told me it would be up to 10 business days until the investigation is over and my account will be adjusted. My feelings are so hurt because I need every penny. It’s the beginning of the month all my bills are due. I do not spend my money irresponsibly. I pay my bills like I’m supposed to. Now I have to worry about late fees. Idk if any of you experienced this before but I’m feeling crushed today. I did not even want to work today, but what would that do for me besides making my next check short?
