Started off the morning visiting the Tsukiji fish Market. We went around 11AM and it wasn’t busy at all, no long lines. Absolutely love the lean to fatty tuna and dessert options.
Made our way from the area to Ginza to try Cloud Club Matcha @cloudclub_ginza and let me tell you: wow wow. So smooth, so rich and different from Hatoya.
From there, we hopped on the train. Highly recommend using Suica to get around. Visited Harajuku and this area just felt richhhhhhh! definitely a must if you want to go shopping and experience Japan at a whole new level.
Lastly, back to Shibuya to experience street kart driving. We booked this experience with @streetkarttour — PS: You need an internal driving licenses to do this!

Starting at the Tsukiji Fish Market around 11 AM was perfect, as the crowd had thinned compared to early mornings, letting me enjoy fresh seafood like lean to fatty tuna without the stress of long lines. Besides the variety of sushi, be sure to try some of the delightful desserts available nearby, which offer a sweet end to your culinary exploration. Using the Suica card for transit proved to be a game changer; it made hopping between neighborhoods effortless and stress-free. If you plan to get around similarly, a Suica card can be purchased at train stations and topped up as needed, making your travel in Tokyo highly efficient. Our stop in Ginza led us to the Cloud Club Matcha, where the rich, smooth matcha contrasted wonderfully with those from other famed spots like Hatoya. This experience was a real treat for matcha lovers or anyone looking to try a reputable local tea cafe. Ginza’s upscale ambiance complements such indulgences perfectly. Harajuku was next, and walking through this area gave me a sense of Tokyo’s vibrant fashion scene and youth culture. It’s an amazing place to find vintage shops and unique boutiques that you might not see elsewhere. This area definitely felt ‘rich’ in style and character, showcasing how Japan’s traditional sensibility merges with edgy, contemporary trends. The highlight for adrenaline seekers was street kart driving in Shibuya, booked through Street Kart Tour. It’s important to note you must have a valid internal driving license to participate. Feeling the city streets whizz by as you navigate Tokyo in a go-kart is truly a unique and exhilarating experience that adds a fun twist to a typical city tour. Overall, combining these activities gave me a rich and diverse insight into Tokyo’s dynamic character—from culinary delights and tea culture to fashion and thrilling urban adventures. Anyone planning a trip to Japan should consider these spots and activities to get a well-rounded and memorable experience.
