It can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but trust me, it's so rewarding! Don’t be afraid of gel; it’s your best friend for hold and frizz control. I emulsify it well in my palms, then gently 'glaze' it over my soaking wet hair, almost like I’m sealing in the water. Regular towels can rough up the cuticle, leading to frizz. A microfiber towel is super gentle. I lean forward, cup sections of my hair, and gently squeeze upwards. Don't rub! Finally, you can either diffuse or let air dry. If you have the time, air drying is great, but diffusing gives me the best volume and definition. When diffusing, use low heat and low speed, and ‘hover’ the diffuser around your head first, then cup sections of hair to dry from the ends up.
