✨Pregnant with Acid Reflux and Anemia?

Nobody talks enough about how HARD pregnancy can be when you’re dealing with multiple symptoms at once. For me, it’s been a constant battle with acid reflux and low iron (anemia)—and honestly, it’s exhausting.

Why it’s hard:

• I’m constantly tired from anemia, but laying down too soon gives me horrible reflux.

• Iron supplements upset my stomach, but skipping them makes me dizzy and weak.

• Eating is a struggle—I want nutritious meals, but almost everything triggers my heartburn.

• Some days it feels like no position is comfortable, no meal is right, and no energy is left. 😮‍💨

What helps me cope:

🌿 Eating small, frequent meals

💤 Propping myself up with pillows when I sleep

🫗 Taking iron with orange juice (helps absorption & goes down easier)

🥦 Focusing on iron-rich foods like spinach, lentils, and lean meats

💊 Talking with my doctor about gentler iron options

Thanks for this I been struggling with this and never knew how to deal with it. It took my third pregnancy to start learning better ways to deal with it but it’s still a struggle cuz sometimes one thing works and the next it doesn’t but I’m glad I’m not alone.
