Mom Guilt😭

Feeling a lot of mom guilt today for the realistic chaos of our schedule. 😢❤️‍🩹

Nile is always taking car naps and they are usually cut short because of preschool pickup/drop off.

We are out and about for the majority of the day and she’s such a trooper. She really does go with the flow but sometimes it just gets to me.

... Read moreAs a mom balancing a jam-packed daily schedule, I completely understand the mix of emotions you feel—especially when your little one’s rest time is constantly interrupted. It’s so common for toddlers’ naps to get cut short when preschool pickups and drop-offs eat into that precious downtime. One thing that has helped me is embracing a flexible mindset about nap routines. Instead of stressing about the ‘ideal’ nap length or timing, I pay attention to my child's cues and try to maximize quiet time even if it’s outside a crib or stroller. Using reliable baby gear like the GRACO Champion E stroller can make a huge difference. It provides a comfortable spot for my toddler to rest even when we’re on the move. Such tools make outings easier and help preserve some calm amidst a chaotic day. It’s important to remind yourself that every busy mom faces challenges, and your child’s ability to 'go with the flow' is a testament to her adaptability and your loving care. Mom guilt is natural but you’re doing an amazing job managing both your schedule and your toddler’s needs. I find that connecting with other moms who share these experiences, whether through forums or hashtags like #momsoflemon8 and #momguilt, offers encouragement and practical tips. Lastly, self-compassion is key. Taking a moment for yourself—whether it’s a quiet coffee break or a few deep breaths—can reset your mindset and help you face the day with renewed energy. Remember, thriving as a mom isn’t about perfection but about patience, love, and doing your best amidst real-life chaos.
