Having attended last year's festival, I can attest to how Melt Confectionary's cracking chocolate truly stole the show, captivating everyone with that satisfying chocolate crack moment. This year, I’m especially excited to try the new Tira-Gato—a fascinating frozen mascarpone topped with hot espresso that offers a delightful contrast of warm and cold, perfect for coffee and dessert aficionados alike. The Dubai Dipp is a decadent, vegan-friendly chocolate ice cream that I found irresistibly rich and creamy, an absolute standout among chocolate treats I've tasted locally. For those with nut allergies, the banana pudding option provides a gentle sweetness that's both comforting and refreshing. An exciting collaboration this year is with Plates by Payts, bringing doughnut ice cream sandwiches in flavors like jelly and coffee. Though I haven’t sampled these yet, the combo looks promising and is sure to be a festival hit. This festival is not just a feast for your palate but also a visual treat, set at the welcoming location on Main Street, Vancouver. Whether you’re a longtime Vancouver foodie or new to the scene, this event offers an incredible chance to explore unique desserts and support local artisans. Don’t forget to save posts and gather your friends for an unforgettable summer food adventure!
