Rules I've Made for Ghost Hunting
1.) Buddy System! A lot of the times these places are in abandoned buildings or outside locations with public access and it can be dangerous to go anywhere alone. Its safer to just stick together and it never interfered with any of my investigations before. No Risk No Consequences!!
2.) Wear The Right Clothes. I personally tend to make this mistake a lot when planning a trip because I value fashion to much. Sometimes regular sneakers just dont cut it, but it was hard to get down some basement stairs in platforms! forget about outdoor locations! Remember to sacrifice looks for comfort. Trust me it pays off.
3.) Document Everything. I love making videos for the Tube about my investigations. Often times my group would experience something amazing and mindblowing evidence falls into our laps but on the way home forget some of the details that help us piece together the story or message the spirit was trying to get across. Documenting also helps explain or show the other crew members what really happened if someone had to go to the bathroom or was in the Estes Method.
4.) Debunk as much as Possible! The creaking in the wooden floors is not groaning from a ghostly encounter. That bang or pop you heard wasnt a sign of communication, it was the refrigerator in the next room. When ghost hunting I'm searching for real evidence of an afterlife. I need answers for my own personal peace of mind. A simple noise just wont ever cut it for me. I want some Unexplainable, Undeniable proof that theres more out there. So Debunk away! Because when the truth finally does hit, theres no denying it. No using logic to make it make sense. Just the real deal!
