Back with another SAHM/Nanny vlog 🤍 I truly can’t express how thankful I am to spend all of my time with my baby girl. I know I’ve only been a mom for approximately three seconds 😅 but I’ve been thinking about sharing things I’d do differently, some 2-under-2 tips, and maybe even a BYE or BUY series on baby products… because the consumerism in the baby world is actually INSANE. #firsttimemom #girlmom #nannymom #vlog
Being a full-time mom and nanny is both rewarding and challenging, especially when caring for two little ones under the age of two. From my own experience, balancing the needs of a baby and toddler requires a lot of patience, flexibility, and organization. I’ve found that establishing consistent routines early on helps keep the household running smoothly, even when unexpected moments arise. One thing I quickly realized is how overwhelming baby product options can be. The market is flooded with gadgets and must-haves, many of which don’t live up to their promises. That’s why I started a BYE or BUY series to help fellow moms navigate this consumerism. For instance, I recommend investing in versatile, multi-purpose items like convertible cribs or easy-to-clean play mats that grow with your child. Also, self-care and asking for help are critical. It’s okay to lean on your partner, family, or a nanny when you need a breather. Sharing care duties not only lightens your load but also creates bonds for your children with other caregivers. This shared experience enriches their development and socialization. To all the first-time or new moms managing tiny humans full-time, remember that perfection isn’t the goal. Celebrate the small wins, learn from what didn’t work, and give yourself grace through the chaos. These early years are fleeting, and while tiring, they’re filled with unforgettable moments that make every sleepless night worth it.
