Beyond these personal assistances, the Holy Spirit also cultivates beautiful qualities within us, often called the 'fruit of the Spirit' – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). I've seen these grow in my own life as I yield to His leading, helping me to reflect God's character more consistently. And He bestows spiritual gifts, too! Whether it’s a 'gift of discernment' to understand situations and spirits better, or words of wisdom, or even 'holy brave' moments to speak truth, these gifts are meant to build up and serve others in the body of Christ. One verse that often comes to mind is Acts 1:8 KJV, which speaks of receiving power when the Holy Spirit comes upon us – power to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. This isn't just about grand gestures; it's about living a life that reflects God's light and purpose daily, impacting those around us.
