I was watching what I was eating but my tummy would not disappear. And then I started to work out with F45 and it finally changed. As shitty as it is, after 30, we NEED to move our body if we want change. You need to build muscle to loose fat. You need to light weights to build an ass! It is possible, if I can do it.

That’s when I discovered F45 training — a high-intensity, functional training program that changed everything for me. It wasn’t easy at first; I was sore and out of breath, but consistency paid off. What really made a difference was understanding that after 30, our bodies need more than just cardio to shift fat. You have to build muscle to boost your metabolism, which helps in fat loss. Lifting light weights, in particular, helped me sculpt my glutes and build a firmer, rounder backside, something many moms desire but find hard to achieve. I also learned the importance of body recomposition — focusing on losing fat while gaining muscle rather than just dropping weight on the scale. This approach improved my energy and confidence more than dieting alone ever did. If you’re a mom feeling stuck with your body after your 30s or beyond, the key is to move your body in a targeted way, like F45 workouts or similar strength-based programs. It’s doable and sustainable, as I’ve experienced firsthand. Remember, patience and consistency are essential, and it’s never too late to start rebuilding your strength and reshaping your body.
