I Found Snickers Cookie Dough at Kroger… So I Had to Put It to the Test 🍪🥜
I went into Kroger for donuts for the kids… and somehow left thinking about cookies instead. 😂
While I was grabbing cheese for my mom, I walked past the refrigerated section and spotted Snickers Cookie Dough. The second I saw it, I said, “Hold on now…”
Y’all already know I love Snickers.
I love cookies.
So putting the two together? I had to see if they were worth it.
Of course, I couldn’t leave them alone. 🤭
✨ Here’s what I did:
• Baked them at 350°F for about 20 minutes
• Left some original
• Added Oreo cookie crumbles to half the batch
• Even threw Cocoa Almonds on one just to experiment
The results?
✔️ They spread out nicely.
✔️ The edges got perfectly crispy (my favorite part).
✔️ The Snickers flavor definitely comes through.
The only thing keeping these from a perfect score is the thickness. I wish they baked up a little bigger and thicker with an even stronger Snickers flavor.
My rating: 9/10 ⭐
I would absolutely buy them again, but now you’ve got me wondering how a homemade version would compare. That might be my next baking experiment. 👀
Have you tried these yet? If you see them at Kroger, grab a pack and let me know your rating!
... Read moreIf you’re a fan of Snickers candy bars and love fresh-baked cookies, Snickers Cookie Dough found at Kroger might just become your new favorite treat. I’ve always admired how the combination of chocolate, caramel, and peanuts works so well together, and seeing this cookie dough ready to bake made me curious to try it out myself.
One of the highlights when baking this dough was how nicely it spread out in the oven at 350°F for about 20 minutes, creating that ideal balance of crispy edges with a chewy center. The cookie pieces embedded with Snickers bits really gave each bite a burst of flavor and texture. Adding Oreo crumbles on half the batch was a fun twist that added a little extra crunch and contrasting sweetness, while sprinkling cocoa almonds on another portion introduced a subtle nutty cocoa flavor that paired wonderfully with the existing ingredients.
A key insight I found was that while the cookie dough delivers on taste and texture, I personally wished the cookies were thicker and maybe a tad bigger to really get that indulgent feel, especially if you love a more substantial cookie. The Snickers flavor was unmistakable but could maybe be intensified slightly in the future to make the overall experience more decadent.
This product is super convenient for an easy, crowd-pleasing dessert or snack since it’s ready to bake straight from the refrigerated section. It’s perfect for anyone who wants the satisfaction of homemade cookies without the fuss of making dough from scratch. However, it also inspired me to try making my own Snickers-inspired cookie dough at home someday, tweaking thickness and flavor intensity to my liking.
For those watching nutrition, the dough has a reasonable calorie count per cookie with balanced sugars and fats typical of indulgent treats, indicating it can be enjoyed in moderation as part of a sweet craving.
If you spot Snickers Cookie Dough at Kroger, I recommend grabbing a pack and giving it a try. Experimenting with toppings or baking times can help you find your perfect cookie. Don’t hesitate to share your own ratings and creative twists – it’s always fun to swap baking ideas with fellow cookie lovers. Overall, this product offers a delicious and convenient way to enjoy that classic Snickers taste in a freshly baked cookie form.
