OFFICIALLY 6 weeks Post Op!

2025/7/8 Edited to

... Read moreHitting that 6-week post-op milestone and making it back to the gym for a solid pull day is such an incredible feeling! It's not just about the workout itself; it's about celebrating every step of the recovery journey. And what better way to capture that moment than with a mirror selfie in the gym locker room? For me, these gym selfies are more than just quick snaps. They’re a visual diary of my progress, especially after surgery. It’s amazing to look back and see the small changes, the growing strength, and the dedication it takes to get back to where I want to be. After a tough session, when you're feeling "Dead mf tired" but exhilarated, a quick pic can really cement that feeling of accomplishment. Plus, seeing my smartwatch workout summary, tracking my total time and total calories burned, right there in the mirror, is such a motivator. It reminds me how far I've come since those first gentle movements post-op. If you’re thinking of documenting your own fitness comeback, especially post-surgery, here are a few things I've learned that make a difference. Firstly, consistency! Try to take your photos in similar lighting and angles. It doesn't have to be perfect; the goal is to see your transformation. I often wear my favorite black crop top and shorts – it helps me feel confident and makes it easier to compare photos. Flexing a bicep, like I did for one of my pictures, is a fun way to show off those hard-earned gains! Beyond the physical, these selfies have been a huge mental boost during my breast augmentation recovery. There are days when healing feels slow, but seeing myself get stronger, even subtly, in a mirror selfie, helps me stay positive and focused on the long game. It's a testament to the body's incredible ability to heal and adapt. That moment of looking in the mirror, sometimes just after my 6-week post-op workout, and seeing myself stand tall and strong, truly encapsulates the strength, healing, and comeback I’m experiencing. For anyone returning to the gym post-op, remember to ease in with control and focus, just like I'm doing with my cable love exercises. Don't compare your 'now' to your 'before' self too harshly. This is a new chapter, a new strength. Use your progress pictures as a celebration, not a critique. Sharing these moments, like my mirror selfies, also connects me to an amazing community of people who understand the journey, offering support and encouragement every step of the way. It makes the comeback feel even more powerful.

Wow I can’t believe it’s been 4 weeks already! Some parts of body still feel slightly numb from the numbing fluid. The numbing fluid feels hard and lumpy in some areas and I have to do daily massages to help soften it. It’s going to take 2 more months before I’m fully healed. So far so good!
