Countdown to the Crown: Day 2 - Fun Fact 🫶🏽
Back in 3rd grade, my teacher asked if anyone could spell Mississippi. This girl raises her hand all confident like, “Yeah… and I can spell it backwards.” Then just casually does it like it was nothing. I was sitting there like… oh, she’s magical.
I already knew how to spell Mississippi backwards (don’t ask), but I wanted to be her friend soooo bad. I knew I had to come with something equally unhinged. So I went home, stared at the alphabet, and said “Bet.” Learned the whole thing backwards in an hour. Came to school the next day like, “Hit me with the challenge.”
It worked. She was impressed. We’re still friends. Moral of the story? Sometimes being weird does pay off.
