2025 reading journal

I'm proud of this project!

I print out the books I'm going to read/listen to by using a Canva template I found from someone on tiktok, then saving it as a picture on my phone so I don't have to sign up for an account. Because of this, the individual book picture doesn't end up being a true 1.5in x 0.5in.

My goal is to read more of my physical books this year! ❤

With the rise of digital tools like Canva, creating a customized reading journal has never been easier. The Canva template mentioned in this article simplifies the process and allows you to visually track your reading journey. Start by selecting your preferred template, which you can easily modify to fit your style. Incorporate sections to note down total books read, genres, favorite quotes, and any reflections you might have after finishing a book. This also encourages you to explore various genres, and as you aim to read more physical books this year, you can document your progress. Additionally, using a journal can serve as inspiration; seeing your reading accomplishments visually displayed can motivate you to tackle that towering stack of books sitting in your corner. By keeping track of the titles and your thoughts about each book, you build a personalized library of experiences, which can enhance discussions with fellow readers. For those who may not have much time, consider allocating a small section for mini-reviews or ratings, making it easy to recall what you loved or didn't love about the stories. With the ever-growing BookTok community, sharing your reading journal can spark new friendships and discussions, so don’t hesitate to showcase your journal's progress online! From tracking your favorite sci-fi novels to indulging in a good thriller, let your journal reflect your unique reading adventure this year!
