Focusing on "things above" as mentioned in Colossians 3:2 has been a transformative practice in my spiritual journey. When life grows busy and distractions multiply, reminding myself to set my mind on higher, spiritual values helps me find peace and resilience. This verse encourages us to shift perspective beyond temporary, material concerns toward eternal truths. Personally, I have found that daily meditation on God’s word and prayer centered on "things above" helps realign my priorities. It nurtures faith and optimism, especially during challenging times. Instead of being caught up in worries about possessions or status, I try to cultivate gratitude for spiritual blessings like love, grace, and community. Moreover, embracing this mindset fosters compassion and patience in relationships. When we focus on divine virtues, it becomes easier to forgive and support one another. The hashtag #godisgood reminds me to recognize God's presence in everyday life, while #faith and #jesus anchor these reflections in my Christian walk. In my experience, integrating this verse into daily life requires intentionality: setting reminders, reading scripture, and sharing reflections within a faith community. These habits reinforce the lesson to keep our minds on what truly matters above the earthly distractions. This approach has deepened my sense of purpose and joy in living a faith-filled life.
