Which Bible(s) is your favorite ?
Do you have a favorite version of a Bible?
I have been reading my Bible and last few months I hadn’t. But I dug out all my bibles I have and this is it 8 bibles!
Only one of them is given to me by a stranger in church one day while I hung out with my friend! (My FIRST Bible ever!)
My parents were not church going people! Never even given me my first Bible!
My mom ? She had a Bible I seen it laying around. But never picked it up
so I had to learn on my own who God is! And learn the stories
I gotten up to Judges in a few chapters with my own eyes!
One thing for sure you have to have a good translation that good for you.

1) kings James Bible (this was my first one!)
2) the living Bible (this one I had found it easy to read)
3) Contemporary English Version
4) ESV English standard version (journal Bible, I writing in this one with a commentary)
5) Holman Christian standard Bible (a deaf pastor given me this saying many hearing impaired people enjoyed this translation)
6) Reader Digest Bible (this is like an actual book with chapters, you can’t see the verse numbers in it)
7) Christian Standard Bible
8) the Bible for deaf (this one has the vocabulary list in the bottom of the scriptures, it tells you the word meaning in the scriptures
Question: can you tell which ones are old and used?
Yes bibles can be used by other people but that don’t mean I have read all the Bible verses and stories.
I do highly suggest to go to a used book store and get a bible from them . Most likely a Bible from the 1960s-1970s will have the verses they been taken out!
Only two of my Bible have Matthew 17:21 as it self “howbelt this kind goeth not out but by power and fasting” -KJV
“But this kind of demon won’t leave unless you never prayed and gone without food” -the Living Bible
There are others verses but some people seen Matthew 17:21 taken out!
