Trying Hot Ones IRL

📍 Lucifer’s House of Heat

1682 Davie St, Vancouver, British Columbia

Ever watched Hot Ones interviews and thought to yourself, man how bad can the spice be?? Well try it for yourself while you’re in Vancouver, BC!!

Other than the official Hot Ones sauces they have a huge wall of sauces that you can pick out and try a sample of before actually ordering. Still indecisive? Ask and state what you like in your sauce and they will recommend!

If ure afraid that the spice will be too much to handle, there’s always an option for the wings to come plain and the sauce to be set aside.

The sauces are rated /10 according to spice level and all I can say, never underestimate even a 5/10.

... Read moreVisiting Lucifer’s House of Heat in Vancouver is an exciting adventure for anyone curious about spicy foods and the cult-favorite Hot Ones sauces. What sets this place apart is its unique concept of letting customers sample from a large variety of sauces before committing to any particular one. I personally found this incredibly helpful as it allowed me to test the heat levels and flavors to find the perfect balance for my taste buds. Something worth noting is the detailed heat rating system, which ranges from mild (around 3/10) to incredibly spicy (up to 10/10). I learned quickly not to underestimate even a 5/10 sauce—as the heat can sneak up on you! For those who worry they can’t handle much spice, the option to have wings served plain alongside the sauce is a great way to enjoy the flavor without overwhelming heat. I also appreciated the staff’s expertise in recommending sauces based on your preferences, which makes the experience feel personalized rather than intimidating. Beyond the classic Hot Ones sauces, the variety includes creative blends like Pickled Garlic, Barbacoa, and Sriracha Verde, each offering distinct tastes and a different heat profile. For spice lovers looking to push their limits, Lucifer’s House of Heat is like a playground of fiery sauces, providing a behind-the-scenes taste of what you see in the famous Hot Ones interviews. The friendly atmosphere combined with the interactive sauce wall makes it a top spot to test your heat tolerance and discover new flavors in Vancouver’s vibrant food scene. If you ever find yourself in downtown Vancouver at 1682 Davie St, make sure to stop by, bring some friends, and challenge each other to handle the heat. Don’t forget to use their moist towelettes and fingerbowls—essential for a clean, enjoyable experience after tackling some seriously spicy wings!

Why you need to see laminates IRL ✨
We think that laminates make or break the design of the house. We had so much fun looking at laminates, more so than tiles. I highly highly recommend looking at full laminate pieces in person to have a better idea of the colour tones and pattern. ➡️ We visited 3 laminate brands in the Woodl
