Unpopular opinion

Yes I know this will ruffle a few feathers, but I don’t care. This is my relationship with Jesus and this is what the Holy Spirit has convicted me of maybe not. Everybody is the same but for me personally I listened to the conviction and I stopped watching horror movies and I stopped celebrating Halloween we participate with the fall activities at church. Forrest Halloween means spending time with our daughter watching full movies and doing fall activities even doing a baking activity with some pumpkin spice or some apple and cinnamon flavors some apple cider. This is a time for us to enjoy with our child. This is a new tradition. We will be starting this year. Last year was the beginning of this conviction for us and instead of allowing our daughter to trick-or-treat she was still little anyway, so we just took her to the fall festival at church and let her have a piece of candy because she was only a year old for her first Halloween she was in the Nicu so we didn’t even get to do anything with her that year this year is gonna look so different now that she will be two! Not only is this fun for them and can be more fun than the actual trick-or-treating itself, but you also get to build family memories and I think to me that’s more important. #unpopularopinions #christianwomen #halloween #fall #fallvibes
