Scripture Memory Plan for July

We are starting back up with our Scripture memorization this upcoming Monday, July 1st.

✨Follow along so you don’t miss the first memory verse of this new passage✨

We will be memorizing Psalm 121 this month:

WEEK 1:

1. I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?

2. My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.

WEEK 2:

3. He will not let your foot be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.

4. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

WEEK 3:

5. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade on your right hand.

6. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night.

WEEK 4:

7. The LORD will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.

8. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

Memorizing Scripture can be a transformative experience that deepens your faith and enriches your daily life. Psalm 121, renowned for its comforting message, reassures us of God's protection and presence. In this month-long plan, each week focuses on key verses that reinforce the theme of divine help and watchfulness. Week one begins with an invocation to the hills, a reminder that our help comes not from mere geographical features, but from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth. The following weeks continue to explore themes of security and vigilance, emphasizing that God does not slumber nor sleep, and He is our keeper. These verses not only serve as a foundation for memorization but also can be meditated upon for their profound meaning in our lives today. As you engage with this memorization plan, consider keeping a journal to reflect on how each passage resonates with you. You might find inspiration to create art or share insights on social media with the hashtags #biblememory and #scripturememory. This practice can enhance not only your retention of the verses but also your personal connection to the scriptures. By immersing yourself in Psalm 121 this July, you’ll strengthen both your memory and your faith.
