Why wait ?
Happy June Thrift Lovers
I found a few Beautiful Winter Pieces last week and wondered if it was too soon to display them.
“Wait for what?”’- said by one of my favorite clients😁
Here’s to less overthinking and just rolling with it loves🥂
Most of my finds this week were curvy size winter pieces. Today felt like the perfect day to display them .
My outfit for today was focused around this awesome wax block floral print fabric I found thrifting.
A belt I made by cutting up some old small jeans (thrifted as well).
I tied it together with some Steve Madden sandals, my favorite vintage jewelry, and a tank top that I picked up from @oldnavy Old for around $6 bucks . The bag is a small cloth toolbox that I turned into a purse.
All of the these off season superb finds will be available on the we Sunday or Monday (first week of June).
As someone who loves thrifting year-round, I've often found that waiting for the "perfect season" to wear certain pieces can hold back creativity and fun in fashion. This June, embracing winter pieces normally tucked away can add unexpected flair to summer wardrobes. For example, layering a floral wax block print fabric dress or top with lightweight accessories or sandals can strike the perfect balance between warmth and style. One of my favorite thrifting hacks is repurposing items, like turning old jeans into a trendy belt or transforming a vintage cloth toolbox into a unique purse. These DIY upcycled accessories not only personalize your look but also promote sustainability—a win for style and the planet. Curvy size winter apparel, which might seem bulky or out of season, can be styled with summery tank tops or open sandals to keep outfits light and comfortable. Pairing these pieces with statement vintage jewelry adds a nostalgic touch that brings any outfit alive. By choosing to "roll with it" instead of overthinking fashion rules, you tap into originality and confidence that truly defines personal style. Whether you're thrifting for summer or winter, mixing seasons encourages creativity and allows your wardrobe to reflect your unique personality every day. So why wait? Fashion is about expression and fun—let your thrifted treasures shine anytime you want.
